We can help you through the processes with your council applications, and as we are fully licensed builders, we can even fill out and lodge your forms for you. The whole process can be quite daunting, but we will help you all the way.

Costs

It usually costs between $65,000 - $70,000 to move your house, including the brickwork and footings and the purchase price of the house (possible exception very old heritage homes are more expensive to buy). To this must be added Council fees, plaster setting, painting and the connection of your services (plumbing and wiring). You will get a home for a fraction of the cost of a new one, plus think of all the land fill you will have saved. The old homes have such character as well.

The whole process is a very small time frame compared to building a new home, in two to three weeks after commencing work on moving the building, it will be sitting on your block, put back together and down on the new footings and brickwork.
